Tutorial:  Make My Market Bag
 

   

Cut out all pieces using template for Gussets.
Match, Cut and  Sew Outer Bag at Bottom if Fabric is directional

  Find Center of Gusset and Bag   Pin from Center to Edges around Curve   Sew around Curve>.
Repeat for other Gusset  and Lining Gussets
 
     
Sew Lining in Same manner as outer bag.   Insert LIning into Outer Bag   Fold raw edges toward wrong sides
and pin together.  Topstitch bag opening 		  cut two- 3 1/2 inch lengths for straps. 
Sew right sides together on long edges and turn tube
right sides out.  Selvage makes cool edge.
 
 
 
 

 

  

     

Sew ends of strap to sides of bag
in center of gusset.
Make a square and "x" with stitches to secure.

  Pinch sides of gusset to create pleat
around end of straps. Pin in place . 		  Stitch back and forth where pinned, to
secure pleat. 		  Sew large snap on inside edge or
a button and loop to keep it closed.
